Planning a wedding can be stressful and time consuming. From the moment you are engaged, most brides are already planning their big day. You have to tour venues, go to food tastings, pick out flowers, and most importantly, find your glam team. The list can go on and on and it seems like wedding planning never ends. Because of this, some brides to be don't know if it is worth it to pay for a bridal trial with their glam team. While the decision is totally up to you, I am here to give you a few reasons why it is important:
1. YOU GET TO MEET YOUR HAIR STYLIST AND MAKEUP ARTIST. As silly as this may seem, it is important to meet your glam squad before the big day for a couple of reasons. First, you don't want that awkwardness of meeting for the first time in front of your bridal party. It can kill the whole vibe of your big day. Speaking of vibes, the second big reason to have a trial is to make sure you and your hairstylist or makeup artist vibe. As much as you LOVE someone's work, sometimes people just do not vibe. It is nothing against the stylist or the bride, it's just life. For that reason, you don't want to have your glam squad show up and throw off the whole mood for your big day.
2. YOU CAN TWEAK YOUR HAIRSTYLE AND MAKEUP TO YOUR LIKING. Yes, even if you don't have a trial, you can still tweak your look on your big day but that just adds stress for you, especially if you are on a time crunch. Since I am a bridal hairstylist, I will speak on this from my point of view. I highly recommend a bridal trial to all my brides because I do not want any surprises on the big day. I want to make sure the vision you have in your head of what you want to have your hair styled like, comes to life. For example, if you have fine hair, but you want this big glamourous up do, you would need to purchase hair extensions to give you the density I need to create the style. That is something that would be discussed at your trial. Without that discussion, you might not know that you need hair extensions to give you that look. Also, a style you think would look bomb with your dress, might not look like you thought it would. And that could be a disaster on your big day because you are supposed to look and feel your best!
Even though there are other reasons why a bridal trial is important to have, these are the two biggest reasons in my opinion. Your big day is supposed to go smooth, that's why you spend ample amount of time planning every detail!
