If you are reading this, I'm guessing you are wondering if a high bun (also called a top knot) is for you! Getting the perfect hairstyle can be challenging, I totally get it, but it doesn't have to be stressful. Let's go over some reasons why you should have a fun top knot:
It is a timeless look! You don't have to worry about looking back at pictures and thinking OMG... MY HAIR! It's no lie that some of the new bridal styles are just trends that look cute now, but will you love it in the years to come? … Think circa 2000's (lol).
Your hair is up and out of the way. You don't have to worry about it catching on your necklace or on the back of your dress (if you have a high neckline) … and my personal favorite, no one will be touching your hair when they go to hug you!
You can still see the up do from the front. One of the MOST common phrases I hear from brides is " I don't want to look bald" GIRL, I TOTALLY GET IT! When choosing a high bun, you can still see the hair from the front giving you a fuller look (plus your hair will look good from every angle lol).
Lastly, PLEASE understand that most bridal updos you see on Pinterest use extensions. To get a beautiful, full top knot, you will need extensions! It is always my recommendation that EVERY bride purchase hair extensions (this topic has to be another blog post because I can talk about it forever!)
